Ultra-rare Black Appenzeller Spitzhaubens. This is a color project we’ve been working on for several years, and I’m so excited to finally offer them to the public for the 2026 season! Appenzeller Spitzhaubens are friendly, active, and curious birds that lay around 200 eggs per year.

Please note this is a third-generation color project, and not all offspring may not be perfect. If you’re looking for a truly unique Appenzeller, these are your birds!
